Item Description

A slightly shorter and flirtier version of the Oscar De La Renta suit worn by Tannia Rubiano on the cover of the 1971 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, it was designed specifically for the 2013 issue’s body paint section. The bikini is made from red bandana print fabric. The sarong-inspired top crosses at the neck with thick ties. The bikini bottoms have gathered sides and a Brazilian cut that covers 50 percent in the back. The Savannah skirt is a short, ruffled coverup with a thick tie at the waist.

This is the matching skirt cover-up that goes over the Savannah bikini worn as body paint by model Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy was shot on location in Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas by photographer Walter Iooss Jr.
